Engagements and pricing
What it costs, before you ask.
Start with a diagnostic, bring in a fractional CMO, then add the hands to execute. Every price on this page is the one on the service page behind it.
Short answer
A fractional CMO at Deep Quiver runs from $7,500 to $15,000 per month depending on tier, with no minimum term. Most engagements start with the $5,000 30-Day Marketing Diagnostic, and execution can be added from $5,000 per month on top of a tier. Projects — a go-to-market plan or a website — are scoped and priced up front.
The ladder
Four rungs, in order.
Most companies climb it: a diagnostic tells you what is wrong, leadership fixes the plan, execution runs it. You can start at any rung, and stop at any of them.

Pricing questions
What people ask about cost.
- How much does a fractional CMO cost?
- Ours run from $7,500 to $15,000 per month depending on the tier: Essentials from $7,500, Growth Track from $10,000, and Embedded Executive from $15,000. There is no minimum term on any of them. A full-time CMO typically costs well into six figures before benefits, equity, and a months-long search.
- What does the 30-Day Marketing Diagnostic cost, and what do I get?
- A fixed $5,000. You get a review of strategy, channels, and marketing operations, a scorecard by area, and a prioritized 90-day plan you can run with or without us. It takes about 4 to 6 hours of your leadership team’s time across the month.
- What does Full-Service Execution add on top of a fractional CMO tier?
- The hands. You keep the leadership your tier buys, and add execution from $5,000 per month: campaigns, content, HubSpot, and sequences, run by a bench of specialists we manage against the same plan and the same KPIs.
- Is Marketing Consulting cheaper than a fractional CMO?
- It starts lower, from $5,000 per month, because you book a set block of hours rather than a tier. We still own the plan; your team does the work. Move up to Essentials when the plan needs an owner in the room more often than the hours allow.
- Do you require long-term contracts?
- No lock-ins and no minimum term on any service. Strategy does need time to show results, so we plan in quarters and report monthly, but you are free to stop. Project work, like a website or the Diagnostic, is scoped and priced up front.
- What does a fractional CMO cost compared to a full-time hire?
- A full-time CMO typically costs well into six figures before benefits, equity, and a months-long search. Our engagements run $7,500 to $15,000 per month depending on tier and scope, with no minimum term. You get the same caliber of leadership, sized to what the business needs today.
